Seth Rollins makes his way to the ring.

Seth appreciates the reaction to his return to Raw.

He wants to know if the people of Baltimore are going to let him talk.  He says it has been 200 days since he left.  He has been thinking about stepping inside his ring once again.  Seth says unless you are living under a rock, he is back.  For seven months, he has waited to come back to win back the title he never lost.  At Extreme Rules, he fired the first shot.

We see a photo of the Pedigree by Rollins to Roman Reigns after Roman defeated AJ Styles.

Seth says he feels like the people missed him.  Seth says it was not always that way.  When he put a steel chair in Roman’s back to end the Shield, you booed him every time.  You were calling for his head every night.  When he won the WWE Championship, he says you called him the weakest WWE Champion of all time.  You were begging for people to beat him for the title, bu t no one could.  You said he hid behind the Authority.  You went against everything he earned during his title reign.

Then his knee buckled under the weight of carrying this company on his back for so freaking long.  Then he started getting tweets and comments from people saying they missed him and wanted him to come back soon.  He got flowers and so much fan mail, he did not know what to do with it.  Seth says he did not open a single letter and he put it in a garbage can and he lit it on fire.  Seth said he did not need you on his side to win the title or to defend the title.  He says he does not need them to get it back.

Seth says there is only room on the Seth Rollins bandwagon for one dude and that is him.  You weren’t there with him when he was rehabbing twice a day to get his title back.  He says that is more work he has done in the last seven months than you have in your collective lives.  Boo him or cheer him.  He is back for one thing . . . the title he never lost.  He redesigned Seth Rollins and he will take back HIS WWE World Championship.

Roman Reigns interrupts and makes his way to the ring.

Reigns enters the ring and Rollins leaves and goes to the floor.

Shane McMahon’s music plays and he shuffles his way on the stage and goes to the ring.

Shane takes a mic and he asks for Seth to come into the ring for a conversation, an adult conversation.

Shane says there is a lot of animosity between the two and it started when you turned your back on the Shield.  Then at Wrestlemania 31, you interjected yourself  into the main event to become WWE Champion, a championship you held until your injury.  He says he knows that Seth wants his title back since he did not lose it.  This match has Wrestlemania Main Event written all over it but we are not going to wait until Wrestlemania.

At Money in the Bank, Roman Reigns defends his title against Seth Rollins.

Jojo interviewed Roman Reigns about the main event. She asked whether his relationship with Dean Ambrose would ever be the same again after tonight. He said the WWE wouldn’t be the same after tonight. He said a lot of things would change after tonight. Dean showed up and agreed saying that only one of them is going to be on the road to Wrestlemania. Dean said the other one is going to be watching. Dean said he’s hitchhiked enough and wants to see what life is like in the Fast Lane. Roman said not to book that trip. Dean said he got a great deal on Priceline. Ugh. Awful. No one speaks this way. They agreed Brock was something they were going to have to deal with and then they would deal with each other.

WWE World Heavyweight championship match at Wrestlemania 32: Brock Lesnar (with Paul Heyman) vs. Dean Ambrose vs. Roman Reigns.

Lesnar went right after Ambrose and rammed him into the buckles. Reigns (who was booed upon entering) attacked Brock but ate a German suplex. Ambrose returned but was quickly displaced from the ring. Lesnar nailed another German suplex on Reigns. He was going for a third but Ambrose nailed him with a missile dropkick from behind. Lesnar nailed several shots. Ambrose got behind and went for a German but Brock broke free and sent him sailing with a belly to belly overhead suplex. Very physical early.

Brock went to the floor to go after Roman. Dean went for a dive to the floor but was caught and nailed with a suplex on the floor. It’s all Lesnar so far. Lesnar nailed another German suplex on Reigns. Lesnar nailed another. He picked up Reigns and nailed an F5 but Ambrose broke up the pinfall. Lesnar looked at him as if he was crazy for messing with Brock.

Ambrose slapped him so Lesnar lost it and drilled him with knees and suplexed him across the ring. He began drilling Dean with knees and suplexed him again. Lesnar nailed another one. Dean tried to crawl away but was powered up and suplexed over again. Lesnar went for an F5 but Reigns speared him for a close two count. They shot the sequence in a way that made it seem Roman came out of nowhere to make it a bigger shock. Nice.

Roman nailed the Superman Punch but Lesnar rolled out of the ring from the force of the move. Roman charged across the floor and leapt off the stairs but Lesnar caught him on his shoulders. The best laid plans of mice and men, indeed. He went for a F5 onto the announcer’s table but Ambrose nailed a low blow. Dean ripped apart the announcers’ table and they set up for the old Shield powerbomb through a table. The crowd loved that.

Dean and Ambrose had words and Dean kicked him and threw Roman into the stairs. He tossed Roman into the ring and attacked him and nailed a running bulldog. Ambrose went to the top and nailed a flying elbow for a two count. Roman came back with several rights. Dean fired back with shots of his own. They brawled in the center of the ring. Dean nailed the McGuinnness rebound lariat as Lesnar returned to his senses on the floor.

Roman and Dean both realize Lesnar is stirring so they give up their battle and go back to attacking him, sending him through the barricade. They begin to clear off another announcing table. They do the Shield powerbomb on Brock again. They buried Brock in the remnants of the tables.

Roman then drilled Dean with a right hand, giving him a receipt from earlier. They returned to the ring, only this time Roman was working all over him. Roman used a roll-through into a powerbomb but Dean escaped with a series of elbows. He came off the top but ended up on the wrong end of a Superman Punch. He went for a spear but was kneed in the face. He went for a charge in the corner but Dean moved and Roman hit the ringpost. Ambrose nailed Dirty Deeds and scored a CLOSE two count.

Both men were down and Dean pointed at the Wrestlemania sign. The crowd chanted, “This is awesome.” He went fo Dirty Deeds again but Roman pulled him up for a Samoan Drop. Lesnar hit the ring and nailed a German suplex on Roman, who was holding Dean. Pretty wild stuff.

Roman speared Lesnar but was trapped in the Kimura. Roman fought to his feet and stood up but was still trapped. Ambrose returned with a chair and beat the hell out of Lesnar’s back with it, then turned to Roman and began beating him with the chair as well. He ran Lesnar out of the ring but Roman speared him and scored the pin.

Your winner, Roman Reigns!

A hell of a physical main event with all sorts of great brawling, spots and near falls. This was truly a main event as it was the best thing on the show and the crowd was into everything and everyone involved. Dean Ambrose absolutely took a big step forward with his fearlessness against Lesnar and his willingness to attack his “brother” Roman. The crowd loved him tonight and I hope WWE realizes that.

Triple H came out in his suit wearing the WWE championship belt over his shoulder. They faced off in the ring to close the show.

The 859th edition of WWE Thursday Night SmackDown came to you from the FedExForum in Memphis, TN. After RAW concluded with Brock Lesnar leveling his ‘brother’ Dean Ambrose with the F-5 in the middle of the ring and with the Triple Threat Match to determine the #1 Contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania quickly approaching, Roman Reigns would be in action on SmackDown as Reigns would go one-on-one with “The Bulgarian Brute” Rusev.

With Fastlane just a few weeks away where he, along with his ‘brother’ Dean Ambrose and Brock Lesnar, will compete in a Triple Threat Match to determine the #1 Contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania, SmackDown kicks off with Roman Reigns as Roman would go one-on-one with “The Bulgarian Brute” Rusev, with his League of Nations brethren King Barrett & Alberto Del Rio in his corner. During the match, Roman Reigns had Rusev right where he wanted him as he sized “The Bulgarian Brute” up for the Superman Punch, but that is when King Barrett & Alberto Del Rio would get involved, pulling Reigns out of the ring for the disqualification. Del Rio then throws Reigns into the barricade before Dean Ambrose rushes out to make the save and, after taking it to Rusev, the Intercontinental Champion would dive off of the ring apron, but Barrett & Del Rio would move out of the way and Ambrose would inadvertently strike Reigns! Del Rio then levels Ambrose with a kick to the face before Ambrose is rolled back into the ring where Rusev locks the Accolade in on the Intercontinental Champion. Reigns then storms the ring with a steel chair and The League of Nations makes a quick exit from the ring.

JoJo is in the interview area with Roman Reigns. She asks him about the miscommunication they had earlier and if it will affect their match. Roman says they are never on the same page. He says that Dean is crazy and Roman digs that. They have their own styles. That was an accident earlier. At Fastlane, it won’t be an accident, it will be serious. Tonight, they will ride together and fight together. They will also win together, believe that. Then it was time for the main event as, after a battle earlier in the night, Roman Reigns would team with his ‘brother’ Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose to face League of Nations’ members Rusev & Alberto Del Rio, with King Barrett in their corner. During the match, Alberto Del Rio would have Roman Reigns on the outside and Dean Ambrose would go for a dive to take out Del Rio, but King Barrett would pull Del Rio out of the way and Ambrose would nearly take Roman out again. The confrontation between Reigns and Ambrose would then be interrupted when Reigns drops a charging Rusev with the Superman Punch. Roman then rolls Rusev back into the ring, connecting with the Spear and pinning Rusev to pick up the win for himself and Ambrose. Reigns & Ambrose then stand tall in the ring, managing to remain on a unified front despite a couple of inadvertent incidents.

Backstage, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose are waiting in The Authority’s office next to a glass case that houses the WWE World Heavyweight Title belt. WWE Principal Owner Stephanie McMahon then enters the office, saying that Roman Reigns knows what it’s like to have the opportunity to be on the grand stage of WrestleMania, challenging for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Roman responds by saying that, after Fastlane, either he or Ambrose will be a whole lot closer to the title. Stephanie then says that “absolute power corrupts absolutely” before saying that she doesn’t know how much longer Dean Ambrose wants to be referred to as “Roman Reigns’ sidekick”. Reigns and Ambrose appear to see right through Stephanie’s manipulative tactics before Stephanie says that they will see how “united” they are when they team up in the main event against The New Day, saying that, “one way or another”, they will be “divided” and they will “fall” come Fastlane.
Then it was time for the main event as Fastlane opponents and ‘brothers-in-arms’ Roman Reigns and Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose would face WWE Tag Team Champions Big E & Kofi Kingston, with Xavier Woods in their corner, with Brock Lesnar’s advocate Paul Heyman a guest on commentary. During a wild match, things would completely break down on the outside after Kofi Kingston takes Dean Ambrose down as Roman Reigns would take out Kingston. Big E then grabs Reigns and slams Roman on the announce table, but Reigns would soon return to the ring, taking Kofi out with the Superman Punch before Ambrose hits Big E with Dirty Deeds, pinning Big E to pick up the win for Reigns & Ambrose. After the match, Brock Lesnar would come out as “The Beast” would methodically make his way towards the ring, but with Reigns & Ambrose’s attention on Brock, The New Day would strike as Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods would blindside Reigns & Ambrose. In the middle of the fight, Reigns and Kofi would take their fight to the outside, taking each other out while, in the ring, “The Beast” would pick his spot as Brock Lesnar would enter the ring, grabbing Dean Ambrose and leveling the Intercontinental Champion with the F-5! Brock Lesnar then exits the ring with a smile on his face, having given Dean Ambrose his first taste of the F-5 and re-asserting his dominance three weeks before Fastlane

Four nights after the Royal Rumble, the 858th edition of WWE Thursday Night SmackDown came to you from the Amalie Arena in Tampa, FL. After finding out at the end of Monday’s RAW that they, along with “The Beast” Brock Lesnar, will compete in a Triple Threat Match at next month’s Fastlane event to determine who will challenge new WWE World Heavyweight Champion Triple H for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the main event of WrestleMania, the “brothers-in-arms” would be on SmackDown as former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns and reigning Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose would be guests on Chris Jericho’s Highlight Reel! After learning on RAW that they will not only have to go through each other, but Brock Lesnar as well, to make it to the main event of WrestleMania with the gold on the line, will Reigns and Ambrose show any animosity towards each other on SmackDown or can the longtime friends keep WrestleMania from getting between them?

After learning on RAW that they, along with Brock Lesnar, will compete in a Triple Threat Match at Fastlane to determine who will challenge Triple H for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the main event of WrestleMania, Roman Reigns and Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose would be guests on Chris Jericho’s Highlight Reel. Chris Jericho would first make his way to the ring, saying that he may have lasted 51 minutes in the Royal Rumble Match this past Sunday, but it was Triple H who emerged as the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Jericho then says that his match with the debuting AJ Styles on RAW was a “match for the ages” before Jericho gets to the matter at hand, the Triple Threat Match at Fastlane. Jericho then introduces his first guest as the runner-up in the Royal Rumble Match and the reigning Intercontinental Champion makes his way to the ring as Dean Ambrose joins “Y2J” in the ring, followed shortly by Roman Reigns. The brothers-in-arms come bearing gifts as Ambrose brings some flowers and Reigns brings a wooden stool to spruce up The Highlight Reel.

Jericho then asks the two friends if they will let animosity get between them as Ambrose says that they don’t fight over things like that. Without hesitation, Ambrose says that he will punch Reigns in the mouth with both men joking about their strategy for Fastlane. Jericho then says that Roman Reigns knows all about Brock Lesnar, but Dean Ambrose does not and Ambrose says that he is “indestructible”, saying that, when a trip to WrestleMania is on the line, he doesn’t have any time to be “scared” of Brock Lesnar. Reigns says that Ambrose doesn’t understand, saying that Brock is different than anyone that Ambrose has ever faced. This would lead the Intercontinental Champion to say that he doesn’t even have to beat Lesnar in the Triple Threat Match, he could just beat Reigns. Roman is quick to respond, saying that it would be the first time because Ambrose has never beaten him before.

However, The Highlight Reel is then crashed by The Wyatt Family, who appear on the stage. Bray Wyatt says that, at the Royal Rumble, they “slayed” Brock Lesnar before saying that they “ride”, trampling over those who “wander the pastures of hubris”. Roman tells Bray that they have no idea what he’s talking about before daring The Wyatt Family to come down to the ring and fight. Bray then says that he plans to test the “heart” of Reigns, Ambrose, & Jericho, saying that he and two of his followers are going to put all three of them “down” forever, saying that the “apocalypse” is upon them, advising them to “run”.

Then it was time for the main event as Fastlane adversaries Roman Reigns and Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose would join forces with “Y2J” Chris Jericho to face The Wyatt Family’s Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, & Erick Rowan, with Braun Strowman in their corner, in a 6-Man Tag match. During the match, Roman Reigns was poised to pick up the win after connecting with the Superman Punch to Luke Harper, but Braun Strowman would pull Reigns out of the ring, ending the match by disqualification. After the match, Strowman would toss Reigns into the barricade before Dean Ambrose jumps on the back of the mastodon, but Strowman shakes Ambrose off, dropping the Intercontinental Champion with a big clothesline. Chris Jericho then tries to combat the big man, but Strowman would toss Jericho over the announce table!

The Wyatt Family then targets Roman Reigns, bringing Reigns into the ring, but that is when Roman would be saved by an unlikely hero as Big Show marches towards the ring with his sights set on The Wyatt Family. Erick Rowan meets Big Show at ringside, but “The World’s Largest Athlete” slams Rowan before dropping Luke Harper with a clothesline. The giant then enters the ring, coming face-to-face with Braun Strowman, but before a titanic brawl could break out, the rest of The Wyatt Family jumps Big Show.

Roman Reigns then looks to return the favor by coming to Big Show’s rescue, but Roman is caught by Strowman before Big Show grabs Strowman by the throat, sending Strowman to the outside. Roman then drops Bray Wyatt with the Superman Punch before Ambrose and Jericho jump back into the fray, sending Erick Rowan out of the ring. This leaves Luke Harper all alone in the ring as Big Show shoves Harper right into the Spear by Roman Reigns, leaving Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, Chris Jericho, & Big Show standing tall in the ring.

One night after a shocking and unprecedented Royal Rumble, the 1183rd edition of WWE Monday Night RAW came to you, live, from the American Airlines Arena in Miami, FL. Over the years, the Royal Rumble has become synonymous with shocking returns and shocking victories and, with this year’s installment featuring the much-anticipated debut of “The Phenomenal One” AJ Styles, the 29th Rumble was one for the ages. However, no one could have anticipated how the 30-Man Royal Rumble Match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship would have concluded as, after being assaulted by Roman Reigns at last month’s WWE TLC event, Triple H would return as the surprise #30 entrant in the Rumble! No one was more shocked to see “The Game” than Roman Reigns, but what would shock everyone even more was that Triple H would actually eliminate Reigns from the Rumble, guaranteeing a new champion and, after “The Game” eliminated Dean Ambrose, the unthinkable became a reality as, for the fourteenth time in his legendary career, Triple H is the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion! Throughout the Royal Rumble Match, WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon would throw everything he had at Reigns, instructing The League of Nations to put Roman out of commission, but in the end, the true secret weapon was the Chairman’s son-in-law Triple H. Now that he has lost the WWE World Heavyweight Championship to, of all people, Triple H, how will Roman Reigns react on RAW? Holding his first World Championship in nearly seven years, what will new WWE World Heavyweight Champion Triple H have to say about winning the title?

Backstage, Roman Reigns arrives in the arena and is questioned by JoJo as the interviewer repeats what Mr. McMahon had to say about him being “miserable”. Roman responds by telling JoJo to let Mr. McMahon and Triple H know that he’s in the arena and he’s not leaving until he hears their announcement regarding the main event of WrestleMania, which will be determined at Fastlane.

After he was unable to hold onto the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the 30-Man Royal Rumble Match after being eliminated by Triple H, who would go on to win the title, “The Big Dog” Roman Reigns would team with the runner-up in the Royal Rumble Match, Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose, to face The League of Nations’ Sheamus & Rusev, with King Barrett & Alberto Del Rio in their corner. At the end of a chaotic match, it was Dean Ambrose saving Roman Reigns from being pinned after the Brogue Kick from Sheamus and, shortly after this, Reigns would deliver the Spear to Sheamus, pinning Sheamus to pick up the win for himself and Ambrose. After the match, Roman Reigns & Dean Ambrose would have revenge on their minds for what The League of Nations did to Roman Reigns at the Royal Rumble as Ambrose exposes both announce tables. Reigns & Ambrose then bring Rusev to the top of the French announce table and, in a flashback to their days as members of The Shield, Ambrose would hoist Rusev on the shoulders of Reigns as the two men deliver a double powerbomb to Rusev through the announce table! WWE Principal Owner Stephanie McMahon then comes out to the stage to make the big announcement as to who will compete at Fastlane for the opportunity to challenge Triple H for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania. Stephanie then announces that the match at Fastlane will be a Triple Threat Match between Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns, and “The Beast” Brock Lesnar! Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose are then left staring unsurely at each other, knowing that, at Fastlane, they will not only have to go through each other, but Brock Lesnar as well, if they want to main event WrestleMania.

Three nights before the Royal Rumble, the 857th edition of WWE Thursday Night SmackDown came to you from the Wright State University Nutter Center in Dayton, OH. With the biggest challenge of his career coming up this Sunday at the Royal Rumble when he is not only forced to defend the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against 29 other Superstars in the 30-Man Royal Rumble Match, but he will be forced to enter the Rumble as the #1 entrant, Roman Reigns would have another roadblock placed in front of him on SmackDown as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion would have to face all four members of The League of Nations as Reigns would face Sheamus, Rusev, King Barrett, & United States Champion Alberto Del Rio in a 4-on-1 Handicap Match!

Then it was time for the main event as, three nights before he is forced to put the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on the line in the 30-Man Royal Rumble Match at the Royal Rumble this Sunday, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns would have to contend with all four members of The League of Nations in a 4-on-1 Handicap Match. During the match, Sheamus, Rusev, King Barrett, & Alberto Del Rio would disregard the rules of the match, leaving the referee no choice but to end the match by disqualification. After the match, Sheamus, Barrett, & Del Rio would hold Roman Reigns up as Rusev delivers a super kick to the champion, but before The League of Nations can continue the assault, The Usos make the save for his cousin. However, The Usos would also fall to The League of Nations with Rusev taking one Uso out with a big kick and Sheamus taking out the other with the Brogue Kick. Roman would then re-enter the fray, taking Rusev out with the Superman Punch and blasting Sheamus with the Spear.

However, much like on RAW, The Wyatt Family would then appear, surrounding the champion on all sides, but Reigns was ready for the fight as Roman takes it to Luke Harper & Erick Rowan, symbolically throwing Harper and Rowan over the top rope in similar fashion to the Royal Rumble Match. The champion’s onslaught would then come to an end at the hands of Braun Strowman as the mastodon tosses Reigns over the top rope to the outside where Roman is blasted with a pair of kicks by Harper & Rowan. Harper & Rowan then bring Reigns back into the ring where Strowman flattens the champion with a big slam before Bray Wyatt drops Roman with Sister Abigail as, once again, The Wyatt Family is left as the dominant force in the ring in what may very well be a sign of things to come in the Royal Rumble Match this Sunday.

After being beat down by The League of Nations in the backstage area on RAW, The Usos would be looking for revenge as the 2015 Tag Team of the Year would face League of Nations representatives Rusev and United States Champion Alberto Del Rio, with Sheamus & King Barrett in their corner. In the end, a distraction from King Barrett would allow Rusev to deliver a kick to Jey Uso behind the referee’s back before Alberto Del Rio hits the double stomp off of the top rope, pinning Jey Uso to pick up the win for his team.
After the match, The League of Nations would swarm Jimmy Uso as Rusev, Barrett, & Del Rio would hold Jimmy up for Sheamus, but Roman Reigns would come to the aid of his cousins as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion would take it to The League of Nations, tossing Sheamus over the announce table before dropping Alberto Del Rio with the Superman Punch in the ring. Jimmy Uso would then blast Rusev with a super kick, followed up with the Superman Punch from Reigns! Roman then stands tall with The Usos in the ring as The League of Nations regroups on the outside.
