Backstage, Triple H found Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns. He said it was admirable Reigns wanted to be in Dean’s corner but he doesn’t have the authority to do that. Kane will be there in an official capacity but Reigns would just be a distraction. He told Reigns that if he gets involved, Dean will be DQ’d.

WWE World Heavyweight champion Seth Rollins (with Kane and J&J Security) vs. Dean Ambrose

Lilian Garcia was back for the main event.

Ambrose controlled Rollins early.    Rollins made a comeback but Ambrose’s unusual antics kept him off guard.  Ambrose nailed a guillotine legdrop.  He went to the top but J& Security got on the apron to distract him.  Rollins tried Ambrose to the tree of woe and worked him over.  He drilled him across the back with a series of kicks before cinching in a side chinlock.  The crowd was all over Rollins with “Justin Bieber” chants.

Ambrose finally escaped but was sent into the buckles face first and rolled up for a two count.   Rollins measured and punched Ambrose over and over again.  Ambrose made a comeback but was nailed with a bodypress for a two count.  Rollins and J&J complained to the referee about his count.

Rollins began picking apart Ambrose.  Rollins sent Ambrose into the ropes and they went for a cross bodyblock at the same time and were down.  The referee began counting them down but they returned to their feet.   Ambrose began beating down Rollins.  They went into a nice series of pinfall reversals.  Rollins missed a big kick.  Ambrose nailed a sitout facefirst powerbomb.  Rollins was sent into the corner but J&J pulled him to the floor.  Ambrose hit a tope through the ropes to the outside.  He and Rollins tumbled over the announcer’s table.

Ambrose tossed Rollins back into the ring.  He went for a backslide but Rollins reversed it and tried to use the ropes to his advantage but the referee saw it and prevented it.  J&J tried to argue but were knocked off the apron.  Ambrose rolled up Rollins for a two count.  He went for another but Rollins rolled through and nailed a superkick.  Rollins went to the top but Ambrose cut him off.  They battled on the top.  Rollins went for a sunset flip powerbomb.  They ended up tumbling over the top to the floor.

J&J Security tried to get involved but Ambrose backed them down.  That allowed Rollins to nail him from behind.  Rollins nailed a running powerbomb into the barricade outside for a two count.  Rollins nailed a flying knee for a two count.  Rollins nailed an inverted DDT for a two count.  Rollins verbally tore at Ambrose then drilled him in the corner.  Ambrose tried to fire back but was nailed.  He exploded into offense including a tornado DDT for a near fall.

Rollins tried to leave but was caught up in the ropes by Ambrose, who nailed a dropkick to the chest.  Rolling made a comeback but was caught with the rebound lariat for a two count.  Ambrose came off the top with a big elbow for a two count.  Ambrose set up for Dirty Deeds but J&J got on the apron.  Ambrose went after him, allowing Rollins to nail a kick and send Ambrose over the top to the floor with a clothesline.

They announced Ambrose as the new WWE World Heavyweight champion.

The first referee returned to the scene and told the second what Seth Rollins did.  Dusty finish.  They told Lilian that Dean did win, but by DQ.  So, Seth is still the champ.

The Authority attacked Ambrose, who refused to give up the title belt.  Roman Reigns’ music hit.  Rollins tried to escape as everyone waited for Reigns to come out from the crowd.   Reigns ran down the ramp and nailed the Superman Punch on Rollins.  He and Ambrose wiped out Kane and J&J Security.  Ambrose held onto the title belt and took the mic.  He said he won the match and he’s taking the belt.  Rollins wanted to do something but was outnumbered.  Reigns and Ambrose left through the crowd.

WWE World Heavyweight champion Seth Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose vs. Randy Orton vs. Roman Reigns – Kane is fired as Director of Operations if Rollins does not retain.

Everyone brawled at the bell.  Ambrose hit a dive on Orton and Rollins but was attacked by J&J Security.  Roman hit a big dive onto everyone.  It came down to Orton and Ambrose in the ring and they had some great exchanges.  They ended up on the outside as Rollins and Roman battled.  Ambrose returned to the fray and now now it was Rollins getting worked over by his former Shield bretheren.

Ambrose nailed a short arm clothesline.  Kane pulled Roman out of the ring and slammed him into the ringside barricade.  Ambrose attacked him but was laid out.  J&J Security attacked Orton and Kane jumped in.

This left Rollins in the ring to work over Ambrose and try to score the pin.  Rollins scored with a flying knee for another two count.   Rollins continued to work ove Ambrose, nailing a Bucklebomb and a kick for a two count.  Ambrose made a comeback and went for Dirty Deeds but Kane hit the ring and chokeslammed him.  Rollins covered Ambrose for a two count.

Orton pulled Kane off the apron, setting him up for a Roman apron dropkick.  Rollins avoided the Orton powerslam but was nailed with an exploder for a two count.  Rollins nailed him and went to the top but was caught and hit with a superplex for a two count.

Orton cleaned house on the floor and set up the announcer’s table to put Rollins through it.  Rollins slammed Orton into the apron.  The challengers all battled amongst themselves on the floor until The Shield opted to work together to beat down Orton and nail the triple power bomb through the table.  Baltimore went nuts for this.

Rollins tried to at like they were reunited but the others weren’t interested and began beating the hell out of him.  That was great.  Ambrose and Rollins decided to do the same to Rollins and cleared out the other table.   Before they could do it, Kane attacked.  They overwhelmed Kane, then powerbombed him on top of Rollins, who was on top of the table, which didn’t break.  Sheesh.  The crowd chanted for another.    Roman and Ambrose obliged and this time, the table shattered.

With the landscape decimated, they joked about what to do next, then returned to the ring to face off.  Baltimore was soundly behind Ambrose.  They battled back and forth with right hands.  Roman missed a Superman Punch while Ambrose drilled him with a flying forearm.  Reigns nailed a one-armed powerbomb and scored a two count.  Great stuff.

Ambrose ducked another Superman Punch and rolled up Reigns for a two count.  Reigns then scored with the Superman Punch for a two count.  Roman set up for the spear as Ambrose returned to his feet but was punched.  They kept countering each other until Reigns scored with a spear, only to see Rollins break up the pinfall at the last second.  That was PERFECT.

Reigns chased Rollins to the floor but J&J Security attacked him.  He wiped them out and gave chase to Rollins.  Rollins kicked him off and nailed an enziguri on Ambrose.  Superman punch on Rollins.  Ambrose nailed them both and covered Rollins after Dirty Deeds.  Kane pulled him out and drilled Roman and Ambrose with the ring steps.  Reigns was chokeslammed on the bottom portion of the chairs.  Orton, now recovered, nailed Kane from behind.

Orton returned to the ring but Rollins attempted the hanging DDT.  Orton backdropped him to the apron.  J&J got involved and ate RKOs.  Orton nailed the hanging DDT on Rollins and the place went nuts.  He set up for the RKO but was shoved away into Kane.  Kane ate an RKO.  Rollins kicked Orton and nailed the Pedigree and scored the pin.

Your winner and still WWE World Heavyweight champion, Seth Rollins!

Triple H came out and celebrated with Rollins in the aisle.

Renee Young interviewed Roman Reigns about his strategy tonight. He said he’s proven to the WWE fans that he can be knocked down but he can’t be kept down. He recapped the last few weeks and said that he still gets up and tonight, he’ll be the man that gets up.

Last Man Standing: Big Show vs. Roman Reigns

Big Show was large and in charge early, working over Reigns.  The crowd was all over him with “You sold out” chants.  Reigns came back with a clothesline over the top to the floor.  Reigns went under the ring to retrieve a table and of course, Chicago loved that.  Big Show wiped out Reigns and put the table back, which the crowd booed the hell out of.  I thought that was pretty funny.  Reigns shoved Show into the ringpost set it up,

Show returned to his feet at the five count and slammed Reigns backward into the barricade.  Show smashed the table with his fists.  Reigns grabbed a Singapore Cane and began nailing Show but Show slammed him into the ringpost.  The story is that Show is this unstoppable monster but Reigns is putting up the big fight against the odds.  Show destroyed the Cane and said he was a Giant, i.e. he doesn’t need weapons.  Reigns charged but was wiped out and was almost counted down but rolled out of the ring to get back on his feet.  Show pulled him back up on the apron but was nailed.

Reigns grabbed a steel chair and drilled it across Show’s back several times.  Reigns nailed a DDT on the chair.  Show returned to his feet at seven, using the ropes for leverage.  Reigns pulled another table out, then another, placing both into the ring.  Reigns was nailed with the KO punch.  Show stood there proud of himself, feeling this was the end but Reigns used the ropes to pull himself up at the nine count.

Show grabbed one of the tables and set it up in the ring.  Show called for a chokeslam but Reigns escaped and slammed Show’s head into it.  Reigns nailed a Samoan Drop through the table, smashing it.  The referee began counting both men down.  Roman got up at seven and Show rolled out of the ring in order to land on his feet just after eight.

Reigns set up a table in one of the corners but was nailed by Big Show spear.  Reigns returned to his feet at eight.  Show nailed him and went for a Vader Bomb, squashing Reigns as he came down off the buckles.  Reigns returned to his feet.   Show went to the top but Reigns crotched him.  Show screamed in pain at that one.  Reigns went back to the floor for, you guessed it, another table.  He set it up, then placed another one next to it.

Reigns went to the top and teased a superplex off the top through the tables on the floor.  Show sent him into the ring.  Reigns rebounded and went after Show and tossed him into the ring from the top.  Both men were down so the referee began the count.  They returned to their feet and Reigned cocked, loaded and drilled the Superman Punch  Reigns nailed a second, and then went for a third, only to be caught and chokeslammed over the top through the tables to the floor.

The referee began counting Reigns down.  Roman got up at the nine count.  I thought that was the finish.    Show began re-arranging furniture at ringside by the announcers.  Reigns returned to the ring, exhausted, but ducked as Show charged (after Show had mocked Reigns’ mannerisms, letting Show put himself through a table.  They were each almost counted down but returned to their feet.  Reigns speared Show.  Show got to the floor outside to return to his feet.

Reigns charged around the ring and speared Show through the barricade on the floor, crashing into the timekeeper’s area.  Both men were down as the referee counted them out.  They each returned to their feet just in time.  Reigns got on the announcer’s table but Show grabbed him by the throat and climbed onto the table for a chokeslam.  Reigns escaped and landed on the floor, then charged and leapt off the ring steps (which were now next to the tables) and speared Show off one table and through the Spanish Announce Table.  Show returned to his feet at nine.

Reigns flipped the other announce table over so it landed on top of Show and stood atop of it, trapping Show under the rubble.  Show was counted out.

Your winner, Roman Reigns!

It’s time for the main event, and Michael Cole reminds fans about Lesnars re-signing before tossing it to a video package that highlights Roman Reigns journey to this match, beginning with his victory in the Royal Rumble match. It also covers Brock’s absolute domination in his appearances, when he’s made them.

Roman Reigns is the first man to make his way to the ring, and he comes out through the crowd, flanked by a ton of security officers, and police officers, Roman also looks to be wearing a vest with a new design on it. Roman gets a ton of heat when he poses on the middle rope for the fans. Roman puts his fist to the mat, and a ton of fireworks go off around the edge of the stadium.

Brock Lesnar is out next, and of course he’s accompanied by Paul Heyman, and he gets a babyface reaction from the fans.

WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match
Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns

After formal ring introductions, where Roman Reigns continues to get a lot of heat from the crowd and Paul Heyman performs the introduction for Brock Lesnar, which goes over huge.

The bell rings and Reigns charges in. Lesnar picks up Reigns and slams him in the corner. Lesnar takes Reigns down with a German suplex and Lesnar catches Reigns with an F5. Brock hits Reigns with a couple of big knees and a huge suplex tossing Reigns across the ring. Reigns fights back against a German suplex, hitting a couple of clotheslines that do nothing to Lesnar. Lesnar ducks a clothesline and connects with a German suplex.

Lesnar hits Reigns with a couple of clubbing blows, and a belly to back suplex. Lesnar yells ‘suplex city, bitch’, at Reigns. Reigns hits Lesnar with a couple of big right hands, and Reigns falls victim to another German suplex. Reigns is smiling for some reason. Lesnar hits Reigns with a couple of knees to the midsection, and another German suplex. Lesnar hits another knee to Reigns’ gut, and follows it up by front suplexing Reigns on the top rope, and burying his knees in Roman’s chest.

Lesnar hits the ropes and knocks Reigns from the apron, sending him crashing into the ringside barricade. Reigns gets up to the apron, and catches Lesnar with a knee, getting a couple of shots in, but Lesnar hits Reigns with a gigantic clothesline that sends Reigns crashing to the floor.

Lesnar follows Reigns to the outside and brawls with him a bit before taking things back into the ring and connecting with another supex. Reigns falls to the outside, but Lesnar pulls him back up to the apron, bringing Reigns back into the ring with a belly to belly suplex. Brock hits a second F5, and Reigns kicks out at two.

Lesnar takes off some of his pads, and he picks Reigns up, slapping him across the face. Roman tries to talk some smack, and so Lesnar slaps him again. Reigns keeps egging on and laughing at Brock. Brock hits another German suplex, and another, and a third F5. Brock pins Roman once more and somehow Roman continues to kick out.

Brock picks up Roman and tosses him to the outside, following himself. Brock picks Roman up, but Roman shoves Brock face first into the ring post. Lesnar is busted open. Lesnar just beat the count into the ring, and when Lesnar stands, Lesnar connects with the Superman punch, but Lesnar stays on his feet. A second Superman punch, and Lesnar goes for a knee in the corner. Lesnar avoids a third Superman punch, and Reigns hits a series of punches and a third Superman punch. Reigns connects with a spear. Lesnar eats another spear, and Reigns pins him for two.

Reigns waits for Brock to stand, and Brock catches him, dropping him with an F5. Seth Rollins’ music hits, and he’s out with the briefcase! Seth Rollins cashes in!

It’s officially a triple threat match! Rollins knocks Reigns out of the ring. Rollins takes Lesnar down with a curb stomp. Lesnar gets to his knees again, and Lesnar shoulders him. Rollins curb stomps Reigns, and he gets the three count!

Winner and NEW WWE World Heavyweight Champion: Seth Rollins

Rollins immediately bolts up the aisle with his title, looking shocked. Rollins swings the belt over his head before holding it high. Lesnar stands at the top of the ramp holding the title overhead while huge amounts of fireworks go off above the stadium. The show ends with Rollins hugging the title closely.
