The ‘Big Dog’ Invades Another Yard! There has been no secret that the Raw brand would strike the SmackDown brand for taking Raw ‘under siege’ a few weeks ago. The question was when? The time came a mere 5 days before Survivor Series. As of late both brands have been having a war of words with each other, even taking it overseas to Europe. A few have said that Raw was waiting on one of their biggest names to come back.

Roman Reigns made his much anticipated return to his yard this past Monday on Raw and promised New Day that The Hounds of Justice was on the prowl. New Day cost Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose their tag team championships and the ‘Big Dog’ was not happy about it. What would the newly reunited Shield do?

On Tuesday night as The New Day was well into their match with Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, the Arena burst into shock and surprise as Roman, Seth and Dean made their way marching down the stairs through the crowd. Once on the other side of the barricade, each took a spot around the ring. New Day, Owens and Zayn had nowhere to go. Zayn and Owens quickly tucked their tails and ran out of the ring, leaving New Day alone. Reigns, Rollins and Ambrose charged an onslaught of attacks on New Day. Always looking for a fight, The Usos came out to help New Day. Rollins and Ambrose quickly took them down as Roman watched. With a few more SmackDown Live stars coming to help, the Shield were subdued for a few moments. Not for long as Raw’s most elite came through the crowd to even things up. Kurt Angle came out to add his Monster to the mix. Braun Strowman quickly cleared the ring, leaving the Shield and Shane McMahon. As the Shield held up McMahon, Kurt screamed to him that he started it. Angle ordered the Hounds to finish off McMahon with not one but two Shield Triple Power bombs. McMahon seemed to be on the tail end of the war that he started. How will he redeem himself?WWE.com had this to say about the Raw Invasion.

Before turning their attention to a huge first-time-ever matchup against Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens, The New Day looked to impart the Power of Positivity upon their dream showdown against The Shield this Sunday at Survivor Series, noting that they were far more unified than The Hounds of Justice.

The subsequent match pitting Big E & Xavier Woods against Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens began as a knockdown, drag-out slugfest typical of an exciting SmackDown LIVE main event.

However, that all changed when The Shield’s music suddenly rang through the arena, and the combatants of SmackDown realized that Raw’s counterstrike had finally arrived.

When The Hounds of Justice surrounded the ring, Zayn and Owens opted to bail, and Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns attacked The New Day. The Usos soon joined the fray, followed by Cesaro and Sheamus, and the situation was transforming into an out-of-control brawl.

Meanwhile, the Raw Women’s division emerged backstage and delivered a systematic onslaught upon the Team Blue ladies, as Alexa Bliss punctuated the attack with a clubbing blow to Charlotte.

Back in the ring, another wave of Raw Superstars hit the ring, drawing Shane McMahon and a slew of SmackDown Superstars to join the fight, but things went from back to worse for the blue brand when Raw CommissionerKurt Angle summoned Braun Strowman into the ring to help clean house.

With SmackDown Superstars laid out in every direction, the Superstars of Raw converged on Shane McMahon. With The Shield holding SmackDown’s Commissioner, Angle made it clear to Shane that this counter-siege will be nothing compared to Sunday at Survivor Series.

Just to make sure the point was driven home, The Shield wrecked Shane with a Triple Powerbomb, Angle took down his nemesis with a picture-perfect Angle Slam, and The Hounds nearly sent Shane through the canvas with another of their trademark Triple Powerbombs.
